PVC and Waterproof Boots for Washdown and Wet Process Areas
High shaft, waterproof body and a sole designed for soapy wet floors — the surface where most in-plant slips are recorded.
The floor of a washdown area is not just water: it is water with detergent, dissolved grease and sometimes product residue. A sole that grips well on dry concrete can behave like a skate on that mix.
The PVC boots we carry are built for that scenario: a one-piece waterproof body with no seam for liquid to enter, a high shaft that prevents ingress at the ankle, and a tread pattern with evacuation channels that break the water film.
There are versions with and without a toe cap. For food processing areas we also carry the white model, which is the one that lets cross-contamination be seen at a glance and the one auditors expect to find.
What to check in this line
Seamless waterproof body
One single piece. There is no joint line for liquid to find its way to the sock.
Sole for soapy wet floors
Evacuation channels that break the water film. Dry grip is easy; what has to be solved is wet grip with surfactant.
High shaft
Prevents ingress at the ankle when working with a hose or in standing water.
White version for food
Lets cross-contamination be seen at a glance and is what a food safety audit expects to find in the area.
Where it is used
- Food and beverage processing
- Washdown and sanitation areas
- Water treatment and handling plants
