PPE Supplier in Tijuana: How to Choose One That Will Not Fail You
A PPE supplier is not chosen by the price of the first quote, but by what happens the day the material runs out.
A datasheet for everything quoted
Brand, model, level or class, the standard it meets. A supplier who cannot send the datasheet for a glove or a boot is not selling protection, they are selling merchandise.
Fitting visit and assessment
If they never set foot in your plant, they know neither the hazards of your positions nor your people's sizes. A quote that arrives by email with no visit gets paid for later in pairs nobody wears.
A firm delivery date before the order
Not "two to four weeks". A date. Safety programs collapse when material arrives late and someone decides to walk onto the line without it.
Scheduled replenishment, not emergency purchases
PPE is consumed at a known rate. A supplier who sets up the replenishment calendar saves you the rush purchases, which are always the most expensive.
Women's lasts and extreme sizes
Every plant has staff outside the average range. A supplier who only carries the middle of the bell curve leaves the part of the headcount with the most fit problems without equipment.
Invoicing and dealing with purchasing
Purchase orders, invoicing, credit terms and a contact who answers. It sounds obvious until an order falls through and there is nobody to call.
